Volunteer

Las Caballeras relies on the efforts of its members to work together to provide Girl Scout programs for girls. It is vital to the success of the Girl Scout movement that its adult members exemplify cooperation, teamwork, and respect.

Members of all ages are expected to act in a manner consistent with the Girl Scout Law, to provide positive role models for girls.

Girl Scout Leaders are thoroughly trained in a required leadership course. Enrichment workshops are available to leaders, parents and other volunteers.

The adult volunteers of Girl Scouts of Las Caballeras are  the heart and soul of the organization. We are so very fortunate that there are many individuals who are willing and eager to become Girl Scout volunteers.

With your help, we can reach every girl everywhere and let them have the opportunity to be a Girl Scout and grow strong in mind, body, and spirit.

Conduct by any member of Girl Scouts - Spanish Trails Council that is not consistent with this Standard
may be cause for releasing the member from his/her volunteer appointment.

Girl Scout Leaders and volunteers are also required to become members of Girl Scouts. The annual membership fee to be a member of Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. is $10.00. This includes accident insurance that covers participation in Girl Scout activities.
