Girl Scout Levels

Thank you for your interest in Girl Scouting! All girls ages 5-17 can join Girl Scouts. A girl can participate in Girl Scouting in several ways. Many girls are members of troops/groups. Brownie Girl Scouts 6-8 1-3

The Daisy Girl Scout level focuses on having fun through socializing. Daisy Girl Scouts participate in simple group activities, arts and crafts, sing songs, create short-term projects and earn Daisy Petals. Click here to learn more about Daisy Girl Scouts.

The Brownie Girl Scout level centers around their recognition program, "Try-It." This program level is a time to discover new things and explore. Junior Girl Scouts go places and meet people and occasionally go on overnight camping trips. Junior Scouts all learn basic first-aid training, participate in a community service project and decision-making and interpersonal skills. Click here to learn more about Junior Girl Scouts.

Cadette Girl Scouts begin to give back to Girl Scouting by helping with younger girls. Cadettes can participate in other parts of the country. Cadette troops participate in outdoor activities, career development, leadership opportunities, community service, and plan most of their own activities. Senior Girl Scouts focus on giving back to Girl Scouting and their community. Through the Leader-in-Training and Counselor-In-Training programs, Seniors can assist as troop assistants for younger Girls Scout troops and become camp counselors at any of the Council's camping facilities.
